New Leash on Life...We have two new arrivals at the North Piedmont Women's Correctional Facility for Women. They are "Sampson", a neutered, four-year-old, male boxer mix who is extremely laid back and highly intelligent; and "Meagan", an adorable, spayed, six-month-old female border collie mix. They will complete training in about two months and be ready for adoption. This is a wonderful way to get a fully trainned dog, give a rescue dog a new life, and help with the Women's Correctional Facility.
New Leash on Life
Update:  Our latest participants of the "New Leash on Life" program will graduate on May 15. We are taking applications for adoption now. There is a $100 adoption fee. To inquire about adoption, call us at 336-248-2706.

"Sampson ( Buddy ) "       is an older dog, about 5. He is a neutered, male boxer mix. He is extremely intelligent, lovable, and friendly. He would make a wonderful companion to someone with a slower, relaxed lifestyle. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to be close to people.

"Meagan"    is a spayed female, black and white, seven-month-old Border collie mix. She is a high-energy, eager-to-please, happy dog. She would do well with a family in which she is the only dog because she loves being the center of attention.Up date, Meagan may have a new family, there just needs to be a home visit !

"Junior"

Junior is a gorgeous, male, one-year-old German Shepherd mixHe has had behavior modification training to remove some aggressive tendencies. He is in need of a home with a fenced lot and a gentle but firm owner. Call 336-248-4020 for more information.

"Ritchie" is another great dog that needs a home. We think he is about 1 year old. He's become a very special member of the home, but in order to rescue more dogs, we have to let some go. He is very smart, crate trained dog but can escape any backyard fence just trying to get with people.  He breaks out of my backyard just to end up at my carport door so he can get back inside with us.

A great big THANK YOU ...

Paduka Update:  Thanks to the many donations we have received, Paduka, the little Yorkie-mix who is blind, will have surgery to remove cataracts the last week of April. She has now been spayed and is current on all vaccines. In a few short weeks, she should be able to see the world around her. Thank you for your help. Up date on Paduka! She is doing much better and will be going to  a new home soon.
